Bulgaria’s Current Balance Shows Deficit of 254 Million Euro

The Central Bank of Bulgaria reports deficit of the country’s current balance, amounting to some 254 million euro for March, on surplus of  131 million euro in March 2016, according to BNR.
The trade balance in March was negative to the tune of 343 million euro on deficit to the tune of  221.1 million euro a year earlier.
Direct foreign investments in March declined by no less than 206.2 million euro, on increase of 55.5 million euro a year earlier.
The largest direct net investments through the first three months of 2017 came from Norway (17.8 million euro), Malta (15 million euro) and Holland (12.3 million euro).
