Bulgaria’s EU-harmonised consumer price index (CPI) fell 1.8% on the year in May after declining by an annual 1.3% in April, the National Statistics Institute (NSI) said on Thursday.
Month-on-month, consumer prices edged down 0.5% in May after rising 0.2% a month earlier, the NSI said in a statement.
Bulgaria’s non-EU harmonized CPI fell 0.5% on the month and was 2.0% lower on the year in May. In April it increased by 0.3% month-on-month and fell by 1.6% year-on-year.
