Bulgarian construction industry will begin recovering in the spring of 2011 boosted by European Union funds, local media reported on Tuesday.
Bulgarian construction companies will rely mostly on funds from the European Union Operational Programmes Transport, Environment, Regional Development and Rural Development, Dnevnik business daily quoted the chairman of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber Svetoslav Glosov as saying.
The money from those funds will be used for the building of roads and infrastructure projects, Glosov said, adding that he hopes the construction works of Bulgaria's second nuclear power plant Belene will begin next year as well, which will open some 15,000 jobs.
