Bulgaria's Competition Watchdog Fines Energo-Pro Grid

Bulgaria's competition regulator imposed a 1.03 million lev ($711,800/526,600 euro) fine on local power distributor Energo-Pro Grid [BUL:2EG] for unfair management of power-generation capacity connected to its power grid.
The decision can be appealed within 14 days, the Commission for Protection of Competition said in a statement.
Energo-Pro Sales and Energo-Pro Grid are majority-owned by electricity supplier for northeastern Bulgaria Energo-Pro Bulgaria, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Czech power group Energo-Pro.
