Bulgaria's Business Sentiment Index Falls in Oct

Bulgaria's business sentiment index in October dropped by 2.1 percentage points on the month after remaining flat in September, the National Statistics Institute (NSI) said.
In October, the industrial sub-index decreased by 4.6 percentage points on the month, due to entrepreneurs’ more reserved assessments and expectations regarding the business situation in the sector.
The construction sub-index remained flat month-on-month, as managers said they expect a sоmewhat less favorable business environment over the next three months.
The retail sub-index went up 1.6 percentage points on the month in October. Retailers' assessment of the business situation has improved but they remain reserved in their expectations regarding sales volume for the next three months.
The business climate gauge in the services sector declined by 3.3 percentage points in October, as managers took a more cautious stance as regards the business situation.
