The city of Burgas, located on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, said that it has opened a tender for four-year contracts, worth an estimated total of 80 million levs ($47 million/41 million euro), for construction, repair, rehabilitation and maintenance of the city's road infrastructure. The tender is divided into eight lots, each concerning part of the city's road network, Burgas municipality said in a tender notice on Monday. Each of the eight lots has an estimated value of 10 million levs. Companies can file bids for only one of the eight contracts. The deadline for submitting offers is February 26. Offers will be ranked based on price, which forms 50% of the final mark, and various quality criteria.
