Bulgaria's Billboard posts lower H1 cons net profit, revenue edges up

Bulgarian printing and advertising company Billboard said that its consolidated net profit after minority interest fell to 193,000 levs ($109,000/99,000 euro) in the first half of 2019 from 344,000 levs in the same period of 2018.The company's operating revenue edged up to 18.3 million levs in the January-June period of 2019 from 17.8 million levs in the comparable period of 2018, Billboard said in an interim financial statement.Operating expenses rose to 17.9 million levs in the review period from 17.3 million levs the year before, as expenses for materials grew to 8.3 million levs from 7.6 million levs.Billboard, established in 2001, offers wide format digital printing, offset printing and branding of vehicles.
