Bulgaria's BDZ Passengers, a unit of state-owned railways operator BDZ Holding, said it is relaunching a 29.6 million levs ($17.3 million/15.1 million euro) electricity supply tender, after the highest ranked bidders in the previous tender later decided not to sign a contract with the company.BDZ Passengers has now invited offers from state-owned NEK and power distributors CEZ Electro Bulgaria, EVN Bulgaria Elektrosnabdiavane and Energo-Pro Sales, the company said in a tender notice. The tender is divided into four lots, each for a one-year contract concerning part of BDZ Passengers' transport network.BDZ Passengers initially opened the tender in April last year and subsequently ranked local Grand Energy Distribution first and Most Energy second. After Grand Energy Distribution refused to sign a contract with BDZ Passengers, the state-owned company invited second-ranked Most Energy, which also declined to sign a contract.
