Bulgaria’s Bansko Ranks As Best-Value European Skiing Spot

Bulgaria’s Bansko is offering the best value to Britons looking for a family week away skiing this winter, a new survey has shown.
According to the survey conducted by TripAdvisor, a family of four will have to spend 1,631 British pounds for a one-week holiday in the skiing resort in southwestern Bulgaria – the best value among 42 European skiing destinations.
The price includes accommodation in an average hotel, ski passes and hire, ski lessons, evening meals and drinks.
The next best value-for-money ski resort in the survey Sierra Nevada in Spain with total costs of 1,930 British pounds, followed by Russia’s Sochi (2,205 British pounds), Germany’s Berchtesgaden (2,476 British pounds) and Andorra’sOrdino Arcalis (2,504 British pounds).
