Bulgaria's automotive sector generates 1 billion euro ($1.2 billion) in annual turnover and its added value has increased fourfold over the past 10 years, the country's energy ministry said.The country's automotive sector consists of one car assembly plant, and about 120 factories which manufacture components and parts for global automotive producers, employing a total of 23,400 people, the energy ministry said in a statement on Thursday.The Bulgarian automotive sector is export-oriented, with most local factories operated by subcontractors of leading car manufacturers.The main export destinations for their products are Germany, Turkey, Romania and France, the ministry added.($=0.8379 euro)
