Bulgaria's August CPI Falls 0.2% M/M, Down 0.7% Y/Y

Bulgaria’s August EU-harmonised consumer prices fell 0.7% on the year after remaining flat in July, the National Statistics Institute (NSI) said.
Month-on-month, the consumer price index (CPI) edged down 0.2% in August after dropping by 0.1% in July, the NSI said in a statement.
Bulgaria’s non-EU harmonized CPI dropped 0.6% on the month and was 0.7% lower on the year in August. In July it was 0.5% lower than a month earlier and 0.5% up year-on-year.
