Bulgaria's Annual Inflation Speeds up to 3.2% in Feb

Bulgaria's annual consumer price inflation accelerated to 3.2% in February, from 3.0% in the previous month, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Wednesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices rose by 0.5% in February, after adding 0.6% in January, NSI data indicated. 
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, which have the largest weight in the consumer basket, added 5.0% year-on-year in February, while prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels rose 4.7%.
Prices in the transport segment edged down 0.4% year-on-year in February.
Bulgaria’s EU-harmonised consumer price index (HICP) added 2.4% on the year in February and was 0.3% higher compared to January.
