Bulgaria's tender for a 444.8 million levs contract for construction of a 13.2-km section of Struma motorway has attracted ten offers, the Road Infrastructure Agency said on Friday. Nine tie-ups and one company - GBS Infrastructurno Stroitelstvo, submitted offers for the contract, the government agency said in a statement. Six of the interested tie-ups include foreign companies - Duygu-Via Plan Struma 2018 (Duygu Muhendislik Insaat and Via-Plan), South Corridor 3.2.1 (Doush Inshaat Ve Tidzharet, Avtomagistrali Hemus and Transconsult-22), Consortium Interbg (PST Group, Construction Association Interbudmontazh, BG Land Construction, Copex&Co), TTBG 3.2.1 (Todini Costruzioni Generali and Todini Bulgaria), and APP Lot 3.2.1 (Groma Hold, Evropeiski Patishta, Vodno Stroitelstvo - Blagoevgrad, Patproekt and Vahostav-SK).Three tie-ups comprise only local companies - Euro-Expert-Stroy (Hydrostroy, Infra Expert and Euro Alliance Tunnels), European Roads 3.2.1 (GP Group and Logistics-21), Geopat Struma (Geostroy, Patstroy, Bias-M and Iliya Burda), and AM Struma Southwest (Trace Group Hold and Alve Consult). The Struma motorway will link Bulgaria's capital Sofia to Kulata checkpoint on the border with Greece. Its construction has been divided into four sections, of which three have already been built.
