Bulgaria's 2012 New Commercial Vehicle Registrations Rise 30.7% - ACEA

Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Bulgaria rose by 30.7% to 3,118 in 2012, provisional data of the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, indicated.

In December alone, new commercial vehicle registrations in Bulgaria more than doubled to 425 from 206 in the same month of 2011, ACEA said in a statement published on its website on Tuesday.

Figures for Bulgaria include only registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes.

New commercial vehicles registered in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by 12.4% to some 1.7 million units in 2012, ACEA said.
