Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency said on Friday that it has reopened two tenders worth a total of 302 million levs ($178.9 million/154.4 million euro) for construction of a 33-kilometer road section between the cities of Mezdra and Botevgrad.Both contracts will be fully financed by the state budget, the government agency said in a statement.The Road Infrastructure Agency initially launched the two tenders in March, but they were subsequently suspended in June over complaints filed with the Commission for Protection of Competition, and then cancelled in August.The larger tender, with an indicative value of 178.8 million levs, envisages the construction of a 13-kilometer section. The deadline for submitting offers is December 3.The second public procurement procedure envisages construction of a 20-kilometer section for an estimated 123 million levs. The deadline for submitting bids is December 10.Construction works under both contracts must be completed within 1,096 days.(1 euro = 1.95583 levs)
