Bulgaria Ready with Offer to Transit 15 Billion Cubic Meters of Gas via “Balkan” Gas Hub: PM Borissov

Bulgaria is ready with a proposal for transiting of 15 billion cubic meters of natural gas via the “Balkan” gas hub, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has said. He has added that this country is ready for negotiations with Russia and the European Commission on the matter. “The Bulgarian gas transiting system with the exception of a very small section near Dupnitsa requiring a small investment is able to transport gas as far away as Thessaloniki”, the prime minister has also noted.
