Production in construction in Bulgaria rose by an annual 3.0% in July, posting the second biggest increase among the EU member states, data from EU's statistical office showed. Hungary tops the table with 7.7% growth.
Month-on-month, Bulgaria's production in construction increased by 1.6% in July, data published by Eurostat on Wednesday showed.
In the entire EU, the production dropped by an annual 6.1% in July, shrinking in twelve member states and growing in three.
The largest annual decline in production was registered in Slovenia, by 18.3%, followed by Portugal with an annual drop of 18.2% and Spain with 16.1%.
