Bulgaria Q3 Avg Gross Monthly Wage Falls 0.9% Q/Q

The average gross monthly wage in Bulgaria decreased by 0.9% on a quarterly basis to 792 levs ($543/405 euro) in the July-September period, data of the National Statistics Institute indicated.
Year-on-year, the average gross monthly salary rose by 3.7% in the third quarter.
In the public sector the gross wage grew by 5.1% on the year, while in the private sector it increased by 3.3%.
The business activities with the highest wages in the July-September period were information and communications with 1,860 levs, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply with 1,505 levs, and financial and insurance activities with 1,456 levs.
