President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev will take part in the Winter Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on Tuesday, January 26, in Strasbourg, the press centre of the President’s Office announced.
The Bulgarian Head of State will make an address before the Assembly, which represents more than 800 million Europeans, and will also answer to questions asked by the parliamentarians.
Mr Plevneliev will also hold meetings with Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjorn Jagland and the newly-elected PACE President.
In Strasbourg the Bulgarian President will also hold talks with Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Nils Muiznieks; President of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe Jean-Claude Frécon; as well as with President of the European Court of Human Rights Guido Raimondi.
