Bulgaria Posts EU's biggest Annual Deflation in June

Bulgaria posted the biggest annual deflation among EU member states in June, of 1.8%, the bloc's statistics office said on Thursday.
Annual inflation in the EU was 0.7% in June, up from 0.6% in May, and monthly inflation stood at 0.1%, Eurostat said in a statement.
Besides Bulgaria negative annual rates were observed in Greece, Portugal, Hungary and Slovakia. The highest annual inflation rates were recorded in the United Kingdom, Austria, and Luxembourg.
In the euro area annual inflation was 0.5% in June, stable compared with May, and monthly inflation was 0.1%.
