Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency said on Friday that it has opened five tenders for five-year contracts for road repairs and maintenance, worth an estimated total of 1.14 billion levs ($664 million/582.9 million euro). Each of the five tenders is divided into between four and five lots, as each lot concernn the road network in a certain region, the government agency said in a statement. Offers for the southwest, south central and southeast regions can be submitted by April 8.Bids for the remaining three regions can be filed until April 11. According to tender documents filed with the public procurement agency, bids will be ranked based on price, which will form 60% of the final mark, and quality criteria.
