Bulgaria Opens 12.4 Mln Euro Railway Junction Upgrade Tender in Burgas

Bulgaria’s National Railway Infrastructure Company has opened a 24.3 million lev ($17.2 million/12.4 million euro) tender for the design and construction of signaling and telecommunications systems at a railway junction near the coastal city of Burgas, a notice in the EU’s procurement journal indicated.

The value of the contract excludes value added tax, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.

Bids can be submitted until May 19.

Construction works should be completed within 18 months after signing an agreement.
