Bulgaria Opens 11 Mln Euro Tender for Replacing 18-Km Railroad Section

Bulgarian state-owned National Company Railway Infrastructure (NRIC) said that it has launched a tender for awarding a contract for replacing an 18-km railroad section, worth an estimated 21.5 million levs ($12.4 million/11.0 million euro), VAT excluded. The railroad connects the towns of Hitrino and Pliska, in northeast Bulgaria, NRIC said in a tender notice on Friday. The deadline for submitting offers is August 9.Bids will be ranked based on price, which will form 60% of the final mark, and time for completing works.
