Tomislav Donchev, Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister for EU Funds and Economic Policy, and Bozhidar Lukarski, Minister of Economy, are expected to officially hand over the contracts signed in the frames of the first deadline under the Improving the Production Capacity of SMEs procedure of OP Innovations and Competitiveness 2014-2020, the press service of the Government announced.
The ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, in the Granite Hall of the Council of Ministers building in the capital Sofia.
Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has also been invited to the event.
A total of 844 project proposals concerning economic activity in the sectors of low-tech and mid-tech production were submitted in the frames of the first deadline. 202 projects worth some 116.5 million levs will be financed.
