Bulgaria Launches 35.7 Mln Euro Waste Water Project in Kardzhali

Bulgaria has started the implementation of a 69.9 million lev ($48.6 million/35.7 million euro) waste water project in the southern town of Kardzhali, the environment ministry said on Thursday.
The project envisages the construction of a new sewerage system and the upgrade of the existing one, the ministry said in a press release.
The project is co-financed with EU funds under the operational programme Environment 2007 – 2013.
