Debt securities totaling 150 million euros are offered at an auction today, BNR reporter Marta Mladenova informed.
The Ministry of Finance is offering 5-year zero-interest bonds. Since the beginning of 2021, the state has issued new debt on the domestic markets in the amount of EUR 250 million. The debt ceiling for the year set in the state budget is EUR 2.3 billion.
The latest "Economic Review", prepared by the Bulgarian National Bank, shows that if the pandemic situation worsened, it could lead to budget risks and higher debt growth than expected.
