Bulgaria Invites Bids for Energy Efficiency Projects in 167 Public Buildings – EBRD

Bulgaria is inviting bids for the implementation of energy efficiency measures in a total of 167 public buildings across the country, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said.

The project is financed with a grant provided by the Kozloduy International Decommissioning Support Fund, administered by the EBRD.

The energy efficiency measures, provided in the contracts, include replacement of windows, thermal insulation, replacement or modernisation of heating systems as well as energy efficient optimisation of the existing electrical, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, a notice posted on the EBRD's website indicated.

The tender is divided into four lots with the deposit guarantee varying between 90,000 and 180,000 euro ($116,000-$233,000). Bids have to be submitted by February 11.
