Bulgaria Invites Bids for Construction of Airbase with 5.5 Mln Euro Indicative Cost

Bulgaria's interior ministry invited bids for a project with an indicative cost of 10.8 million levs ($7.2 million/5.5 million euro) for the construction of an airbase for the border police, a notice in the EU's procurement journal indicated.

The value of the contract excludes value-added tax.

Bids have to be submitted by November 30 and will be opened later that day, read the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) on Tuesday.

The base will be located on the territory of the Sofia Airport.

The project has to be completed by the end of June 2015.
