Bulgaria Holds Day of Mourning

Bulgaria mourns on Monday the victims of the floods which claimed 12 lives last week.

Floods caused by torrential rains Thursday night caused the death of eleven people in Varna, on the Black Sea coast, and one eprson in Dobrich, also in northeastern Bulgaria.

Commemorative services will be held in Varna and in other cities across the country.

Thousands of volunteers are helping clear the flooded areas.
