Bulgaria Gross Foreign Debt Down to 37.27 Bln Euro at End-January

Bulgaria's gross foreign debt stood at 37.27 billion euro at the end of January, down from 37.34 billion euro at the end of 2013, according to central bank data.

At the end of January, the country's gross foreign debt was equivalent to 90.4% of the gross domestic product projected (GDP) for 2014, compared to 93.5% of GDP at the end of 2004.

Intercompany loans amounted to 15.9 billion euro at the end of January, slightly up from the end of 2013.
