Bulgaria, Georgia To Draft Memorandum on Compressed Gas Deliveries

Bulgaria and Georgia will draft a memorandum on compressed gas deliveries across the Black Sea, the government in Sofia said.

"Today, for the first time, we are talking about a real opportunity to diversify gas deliveries to Bulgaria," the government's press office quoted prime minister Boiko Borisov as saying after a meeting with his Georgian counterpart Nika Gilauri in Tbilisi.

The prime ministers of the two countries discussed the possible construction of terminals for Georgian liquefied gas supplies, as well as the opportunities for trade in electricity which could also involve Turkey, the statement added.
