Bulgaria expects to harvest over 6 million tonnes of wheat this year, as 88% of wheat sowings are in good or very good condition, agriculture minister Rumen Porozhanov said.Around 1.15 million hectares (ha) were put to wheat in Bulgaria last year, 115,000 ha - to barley, and 185,000 million decares - to rapeseed, Porozhanov said in a statement on Thursday.Bulgaria's wheat will be of good quality and there won't be any problems with its sale, considering unfavourable weather conditions in Russia and Ukraine, according to Porozhanov.Wheat prices currently stand just below 300 levs ($178.5/153.4 euro) per tonne, while September futures exceed 350 levs.Bulgaria harvested 5.76 million tonnes of wheat from 1.09 million ha last year, the agriculture ministry said in September.
