Bulgaria-EU Trade Records 12.3 % Growth in January-April

Between January and April, Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 12.3 % compared to the same period in 2014.
According to preliminary estimates of the National Statistical Institute (NSI), which were released on Thursday, exports in this period amounted to 9.3 billion levs.
The main trading partners of Bulgaria were Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece, Belgium and France, which accounted for 69.8 % of Bulgarian exports to the EU.
In April, Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 13.2 % compared to the same month in 2014 and amounted to 2.4 billion levs.
Between January and April, Bulgarian imports from the EU increased by 7.6 % compared to the same period in 2014 and amounted to 10.7 billion levs.
The greatest volume of goods was imported from Germany, Italy, Romania, Spain and Greece.
