Bulgaria Establishes National Mechanism for Preparation of 2018 EU Presidency

Bulgaria will establish a special National Mechanism for country’s preparation for the forthcoming Bulgarian EU Presidency in 2018, the press office of the Bulgarian Government announced.
The political coordination on the chairmanship will be realised within the existing coordination mechanism on EU affairs, as the Council on European Affairs will be responsible for the general coordination and management of the preparatory works and organisation of the 2018 EU Presidency.
There will be a National Headquarters and a National Centre for Preparation and Organisation of the Presidency.
