“Thank you for the efforts made. The sector managed to withstand the difficulties and the challenges successfully. We built more than 300 km of new motorways. We realised projects in the water, education, healthcare and urban infrastructure. We showed that we can work with high quality and within deadlines,” Bulgarian Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Lilyana Pavlova said speaking at the presentation of the annual awards of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber, the press office of the ministry announced.
Ms Pavlova handed the award in the High Construction, Adjacent Infrastructure, Electronic and Communication Networks and Facilities category.
The award ceremony was held in the frames of the Ball of the Constructors, hosted by the ministry and the chamber.
Minister Pavlova said that the cooperation with the professional organisation would continue. She wished that the differences in the opinions were overcome and that the EU funds absorption would continue successfully.
Some 3,835 companies from the construction sector were nominated for the annual awards.
