“Bulgaria could be an attractive partner for Swiss business,” said Mr Kalfin, speaking at the meeting.
The Bulgarian high-ranking official expressed his positive opinion of bilateral cooperation in the field of dual education.
“We want the young to receive education that will guarantee them a well-paid job afterwards,” Kalfin specified.
In the meantime, he stressed investments should be also made in highly-qualified cadres, which would make the Bulgarian economy more attractive.
“We are working to increase the stimuli for investments in highly-qualified [staff] sectors, such as information technologies,” the official specified.
He pointed out Bulgaria should strengthen the partnership between universities and companies seeking innovations to produce cadres in the sectors in question.
