Bulgaria's consumer price index decreased by 0.2 per cent in May 2010 and the year-on-year inflation figure for the first five months of the year was 1.9 per cent, National Statistical Institute data showed on June 14.Non-food prices rose by 0.4 per cent for the month, while food and services prices were down by 0.8 per cent and 0.1 per cent, respectively.The harmonised consumer price index, the figure calculated by the statistics board for comparison with inflation in the European Union, was float in May and the year-on-year figure was three per cent at the end of the month.For 2010, the Cabinet set a harmonised inflation target of 2.2 per cent.
