Bulgaria Appoints Two New Deputy Justice Ministers

The Bulgarian government announced on Thursday the appointment of Velina Todorova and Denitsa Valkova-Petkova as deputy justice ministers.

They will replace Daniela Masheva and Zhaneta Petrova, who have filed their resignations, the government said in a statement.

“This is a well balanced team in terms of representation and in terms of positive approach and therefore it is a very strong motivation to work in good cooperation with the judicial system and with all other authorities,” the Bulgarian National Radio quoted Justice Minister Diana Kovacheva as saying.

Masheva transfers to a position at the Supreme Cassation Prosecutor’s Office while Petrova will take a position in the Supreme Administrative Court.
