Bulgaria and Qatar Discuss Investment Opportunities

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali al-Thani discussed opportunities for more Qatari investments in Bulgaria, as well as infrastructure projects on the Balkans, the government press office said.
During the meeting, the countries signed three memorandums for cooperation in energy, education and sport. In the field of energy, they will cooperate in the construction of new infrastructure for liquefied or compressed natural gas supplies from Qatar to Bulgaria and Southeast Europe.
