New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria rose by an annual 17.8% to 8,280 in the first five months of 2014, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Tuesday.
In May alone, registrations of new passenger cars in Bulgaria fell by 2.8% over the year to 1,802 vehicles, ACEA said in a press release citing provisional figures.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, were up by 6.9% to 5,431,921 through May.
