Bulgargaz Projects Natural Gas Price Increase of 2.07% in Q1 of Next Year

Bulgaria's state-owned gas company Bulgargaz EAD proposed that the price of natural gas is increased by 12.48 levs (2.07 per cent) to 615.92 levs per 1,000 cu m (VAT and excise excluded) in the first quarter of 2015, said the company on Tuesday.
Bulgargaz is required by law to publicize its quarterly gas price update proposals a month before submitting them to the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (SEWRC).
The proposal takes into account changes in the lev-dollar exchange rate, the prices of alternative fuels on international markets and relevant legal requirements.
Bulgargaz's final proposal about the price of natural gas in the first quarter of 2015 will be made public upon its submission to SEWRC on December 11, 2014, the company said.
