Budget Surplus by July End Is 801 Million Levs, Against 1.147 Billion Levs Deficit for the Same Period Last Year

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov indicated high budget revenue as result of the excellent work done by specialised units for combating corruption and smuggling, the press centre of the government announced.
According to data of the Ministry of Finance the realisation of the revenue will be slightly above 19 billion levs by the end of July 2015, which represents 62,7% of the annual amount. According to Deputy Finance Minister, Kiril Ananiev, such a thing hadn’t happened in the recent years.
“The surplus at the end of July was 801 million levs, compared to the same period last year when the deficit was 1.147 billion levs,” Kiril Ananiev said at today's cabinet meeting.
