Brussels adopts 336 mln euro Bulgarian operational programme Good Governance

The European Commission said on Thursday it has adopted the Bulgarian operational programme Good Governance worth 336 million euro.
The operational programme Good Governance for the implementation of the European Social Fund in the period 2014-2020 outlines the priorities and objectives to invest nearly 336 million euro, of which 286 million euro from the EU budget, to help modernise the public administration and transparency of the judiciary in Bulgaria, the European Commission said in a statement posted on its website.
The programme also focuses on e-government as an instrument to enhance administrative processes and reduce costs.
