Bottom Monthly Wage Set at 340 Levs as of 2014

Bulgaria’s parliament passed the 2014 social insurance budget act, setting the minimum monthly wage at 340 levs ($236/174 euro) as of January 1, 2014.
Next year, women will be entitled to go into pension from the age of 60 years and eight months, if their length of service is 34 years and eight months, the MPs also decided.
Men will retire at the age of 63 years and eight months, with 37 years and eight months length of service.
Child benefits for infants aged from one to two years old will be increased to 340 levs.
