Black Sea Border Services Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

Heads of border services of the Black Sea countries signed a memorandum of cooperation within the frameworks of their sitting in Bulgaria’s coastal town of Burgas. According to the document, Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine will introduce a modernized automated system for information exchange on topics related to border and coastal protection. The countries agreed to boost the information exchange about vessels of special interest such as small boats, yachts, fishing boats, etc.
