Four bids for supervision of the construction works on a 37.5 kilometre (km) section of Struma motorway which links Sofia with the Greek border were opened at the Road Infrastructure Agency on Thursday.
Bids to supervise the construction of the Dupnitsa-Blagoevgrad section have been filed by United Consultants-Struma, Struma-PP tie-up, Louis Berger-Patconsult 2000 tie-up and Logistica M, the agency said.
The bids range from 139,750 levs ($92,400/71,500 euro) to 181,000 levs, Value Added Tax excluded, as Struma-PP tie-up has offered the lowest price.
Construction works on the Dupnitsa-Blagoevgrad section are expected to be completed within 22 months.
The Struma motorway, with a total length of 173.28 km, is part of pan-European transport Corridor IV.
