Bulgaria's government said on Wednesday that it has approved a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with German car parts supplier Behr-Hella Thermocontrol (BHTC) regarding the company's 31.6 million levs ($18.9 million/16.2 million euro) investment in expanding the capacity of the company's facilities in Sofia. BHTC's project envisages the expansion of the company's production and logistics building in Industrial Zone Sofia-Bozhurishte, the government said in a statement following its weekly meeting. The expansion of the production part of the building is expected to be completed in early 2019.The investment will create 250 jobs. BHTC's main products include control panels and control units for vehicle air conditioning, climate sensors, blower controllers. BHTC covers the entire process from product design to the manufacturing of complete climate control systems. In Bulgaria, the company mainly manufactures climate control panels and black boxes for Daimler, MAHLE Behr, Renault, Scania and VW.
