Bailiff Puts Bulgaria's Universiada Hall for Sale for 8 Mln Euro

A bailiff is offering for sale Universiada multi-functional hall in Sofia in a public auction, setting the starting price at 15.6 million levs ($9.4 million/8.0 million euro), the Bulgarian Chamber of Private Enforcement Agents said on Monday.
Bids can be submitted until July 12, according to a notice published on the website of the chamber.
Universiada hall is owned by local company Universiada, which in turn is wholly-owned by Sofia-based Velder Build.
According to local business news outlet Dnevnik, Velder Build has an outstanding debt of 8.5 million levs to Bulgaria's bankrupt Corporate Commercial Bank (Corpbank).
Universiada combines conference halls with a multi-purpose sports hall.
