Australian Wool Co Lempriere to Invest in Sliven

Australian wool producer Lempriere plans a long-tern investment in the southeastern town of Sliven, the local authorities said, without disclosing the size of the investment.
Lempriere plans to install wool processing machinery at a facility in Sliven by April 2014 and to start production in early 2015, the municipality said in a press release.
Lempriere will sell the processed wool on the Bulgarian market as well as on other European Union markets at a later stage.
Initially, Lempriere will employ some 100 to 120 workers and can hire to 150 more later.
