Asset Development Fund Accepts SOCAR Offer for Natgas Operator DESFA

 The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund accepted an improved offer submitted by Socar, worth 400 million euro, for the purchase of 66 pct of the natural gas transmission system operator DESFA, of which 31% will go to HRADF and 35% to Hellenic Petroleum, the Athens News Agency-Macedonian Press Agency reported.
The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund is welcoming Socar in the Greek market with great satisfaction, as a very serious and strategic partner, which will contribute decisively to our economic growth, the news agency quoted the fund as saying in a statement.
“The future benefits are multiple both for Greek consumers and the competitiveness of Greek industry,” the fund added.
